Belotero
Belotero Dermal fillers are made from non-animal hyaluronic acid using patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix Technology. This non-invasive treatment is known to be effective for filling out superficial to deep wrinkles and hollows!

What is Belotero?

The Belotero range is a line of dermal fillers by Merz Pharmaceuticals. Approved in 2011, these cosmetic fillers have varying levels of lifting capacity and are formulated to maintain the hydration and elasticity of the skin. Many come both with and without lidocaine, which provides patients with added comfort upon injection. The advanced technology used to create these fillers adds to the monophasic nature and increases the duration of the effects. Because hyaluronic acid is naturally produced in the body, the fillers are completely bioresorbable. Belotero dermal fillers are made from non-animal hyaluronic acid using patented Cohesive Polydensified Matrix Technology. This non-invasive treatment is known to be effective for filling out superficial to deep wrinkles and hollow areas.

What are the benefits of Belotero products?

  • Ultra-soft formulation: The innovative formulation produces a polydensified gel with consistencies that adapt to the surrounding tissue, resulting in a natural look and feel.
  • Non-immunogenic products: Belotero products utilize hyaluronic acid with non-animal origins, resulting in a reduction of allergic reactions.

The effects are visible immediately after administration, with results lasting up to six months. You can coordinate maintenance sessions depending upon the needs of your patient.

Is there recovery time associated with Belotero products?

Your patient can continue their day-to-day routine immediately after the procedure. Minor side effects may occur and should clear up within a few days.

For greater results, the patient should avoid these activities in the next 24 hours after treatment: vigorous activities around the treated areas, exposure to extreme temperatures, and consumption of alcohol or aspirin.

Are they safe?

Clinical studies have confirmed the performance and safety of Belotero dermal fillers. As Belotero is made from biofermented hyaluronic acid, there is usually no need for allergy testing. As well, because hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the body, it is bioresorbable and very well tolerated.
